Dear God,
I know it’s been a while since I last wrote, but on this Thanksgiving, I want to formally mention a few things for which I am truly grateful.
- I am grateful that the timer on my coffee pot was NOT broken and instead I had simply programmed it to go off in the PM instead of the AM.
- I am grateful that sometimes I can actually open a jar or a zip-locked package of cheese without the aid of firemen or a knife.
- I am grateful that my puppy no longer has diarrhea so that when I pick up her poop in the dining room, I don’t have to employ the use of the carpet cleaner machine.
- I am grateful that my husband likes leftovers and burned food.
- I am grateful that I own a Yummy-Tummy in three colors plus one in leopard.
- I am grateful that my Iphone has an off button.
- I am grateful that my husband never comments about my late night snacks/meals/binges in bed.
- I am grateful for all four of my ex-husbands. (My real husband is grateful also!)
- I am grateful for my magnifying mirror. Sort of.
- I am grateful that Nature’s Miracle comes in a gallon size.
- I am grateful that my hearing deficit provides entertainment for my children and when I pee my pants from laughing, no one runs out of the room.
- I am grateful that all of my guests love me, (at least I think they do, ) and that if they do in fact, judge me for letting the puppy poop near them, they still come to visit but they don't stay for long.
- I am grateful for a short memory when it comes to mistakes and a long memory when it comes to love and kindness. Thank you God for all of it and please help me remember to write it all down more often.
Love,
Kathy
Mom, this is so beautiful I would like to post it somewhere. Like a billboard.
